National Scooter Polini Italian Cup 2022: fourth round in Ottobiano

The track in Ottobiano renews the meeting with Polini Italian Cup, that has stopped off again on the circuit of Pavia for the fourth round in the season. A “burning” race, since one the numerous protagonists of the weekend was the great heat: the scorching sun has caught everyone in the grips, the absorbing challenges and, most of all, many twists, the Scooter 100 Big Evolution Open class where the protagonists showed two races so rich in planetary contests.

SCOOTER 100 BIG EVOLUTION OPEN:

International class all effects, Jose Enrique Requena Ruiz and Juan Francisco Oliva Alcantara share a victory each, in the Scooter 100 Big Evolution Open and take Spain on the highest step of the day podium. Polini team is the only that can give a hard time to the Spaniards, Matteo Tiraferri is excellent second in Race 1 and third in Race 2, despite a problem with the injured foot during the training in the week. In the top five, Filippo Corsi, twice fourth, followed by Paolo Birtele, third in the first round but last in the second because of a fall.
The challenge is always open: the last meeting in Pomposa will declare the champion 2022.

SCOOTER 70 AMATORI

Linear race for Scooter 70 Fans, where Mattia Cielo and Manuele Fulgeri took home a victory each. In Race 1, the challenge for victory only ends under the chequered flag, Cielo is followed by Fulgeri and Simone Canali. In Race 2, Fulgeri gets the better of Alberto Sfiller and Canali, twice third. It’s a pity for Cielo, out while fighting to take home a beautiful double win.

SCOOTER 70 SUPERSPORT

In Scooter 70 Super Sport, the great return of Ivan Calce, who, with sound mind and resolution, hits a double win scoring 50 clear points. A sweet success, after some seasons far from competitions, but doesn’t prevent Danny Raccagni from confirming as National Champion 2022 one race to go. Thanks to constancy in the previous races, two second positions were enough for the championship leader to take home the title and get first on the pulpit for a 110 degree cum laude. Rota tries and makes plans difficult for him, but in Race 1 he’s third, in Race 2 he is unfortunately out of race and Paolo Moglia takes his place, fourth just for a breath in the first round. Beautiful challenge in Race 2 between Marco Lazzoni and Andrea Casagrande for the fourth position.

SCOOTER 70 EVOLUTION

Scooter 70 Evolution in the name of Spain too, Daniel Guerrero Romera takes home not only a clear sound double win, but also the national Title of Polini Italian Cup 2022. As a matter of fact, he is the second day Champion, one race to go. A success fulfilling thanks to an almost clear domination of the season. Behind him, double win for Luca Zani too, twice second, and for Luka Koren, twice third.
