The maxi Hi-speed variator has been developed specifically for the last born at Piaggio factory, Beverly and MP3 400 HPE Euro 5.
Like all the variators of the Polini Maxi Hi-Speed range it has the innovated patented lubrication system. The internal large pocket of the pin has the function of grease tank; a special spring inside oof it lets a constant distribution of the grease on the pin even during the hardest conditions of use.
The chromium nickel steel pin is characterized by a very low friction coefficient; it is distinguished by the very advanced carbon-based DLC treatment with innovative technology specific for racing and aeronautical applications, intended for sliding and high wear components.
The rollers are made of a special mixture of nylon and aramid fibers and their sliding has been improved thanks to the polishing process on the sliding surfaces.
