POLINI’S MASTERPIECE AT THE 500KM VESPA ENDURANCE
Polini team triumphed at the famous 500km VESPA ENDURANCE that took place on Saturday 16th on the Pomposa Track.
The polini Team won the “Derivate di Serie” category, but also achieved an excellent result on the “Classic” category where it dominated overtaking vehicles with higher displacement thanks to the extraordinary performance of Matteo Tiraferri, Julien Vitali, Cristian Mammi and the Slovenian Martin Mihael.
A time-space challenge between 23 teams and 80 riders that fought till the last km during the 5th edition of a race that confirms the everlasting passion for the Vespa.
Spectaular starting in “Le mans” style at 10.30 for more that 313 laps with Vespa bikes, Lambretta and prototypes . The race of the Polini Team was perfect and without any problem. After 7 pit stops and 6 hours of race, at 4.20 pm the checked flag formalized the winners

“Nice race and great result! We compared with teams that work all the year long to set up prototypes specific for this event. We are satisfied that we have reconfirmed our engagement in the 500kms too at Pomposa in addition to the 19th edition of the Polini Italian cup. To finish in third place and to win the “Vespa Derivate di Serie” category it’s a result that honor us considering the high level of the competitors”.
