Polini Hi-Speed is an electronic device studied for E-bike motors so that the motor no longer cuts-out at 25 Km/h and consequently to increase the pedal assist mode exploiting at all the performance that the motor can offer. It is very easy to install because the connectors interface directly with the original ones, maintaining water resistance. The assembly takes only a few minutes without opening the motor or removing the seals. The internal space of the crankcases was used for its housing: therefore, the device is totally invisible. It is reversible and it’s possible to return to the original configuration in just a few minutes. Without battery as it is self-powered.

  • For BOSCH Smart System, by default the unlock is always active and the effective speed is indicated by the last 2 digits on the display, for example 12.5 corresponds to 25 Km/h.
  • For Brose and Specialized, the devices can be activated with the WALK button and they show the right speed.
  • For Specialized Mahle motors, the speedometer will always mark the half of your effective speed, same thing for the Km. To know both the exact speed and Kms it will be enough to double the figures.

Further remarks:
The HI-Speed for Bosch Smart system makes the bike more responsive thanks to a different sensor reading, by slightly shifting the motor power delivery curve.
The HI-Speed for Specialized and for Brose does not require to disassemble the motor from the bike as it connects directly to the display.

ALERT:
In case of firmware updates, before proceeding, we recommend disconnecting the HI-Speed device from the e-bike.
Updating the firmware may compromise the proper functioning of the Hi-Speed and the e-bike itself.
After the update, try the e-bike and then proceed again with the installation of the Hi-Speed.
