The characteristic of all Polini Hi-Speed variators is to have the innovative patented lubrication system.
But there are many other technical features that distinguish this Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator for Honda E5. The pin in nickel-chromium steel is characterized by its very low friction coefficient, it distinguishes for the very advanced carbon-based DLC treatment with innovative specific technology for racing and aircraft applications intended for high wear sliding components.
The big internal pocket of the pin has the function of grease container, inside of which there is a special spring that allows a constant grease distribution on the pin, even during the hardest condition of use. With this characteristic, the performance remains constant and it is no longer necessary to continuously modify the calibration of the rollers to find the best performance.
Included in the package even the contrast spring complete with the Evo Slider, with a 15% higher preload than the original one, which increases the engine speed to start.
The rollers have a coating made of a new mixture of nylon and aramidic fibers. The variator kit includes the clutch springs with load increased by 20% to raise the clutch engagement.
